Assessment of Conformity in High Voltage Testing

History

JEMA established “High voltage performance verification method committee” in 1998 as commission from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and started activity concerning high voltage impulse testing in Japan. The committee manufactured a reference standard measurement system, and participated in international comparison tests. This certified that the impulse measurement system and measuring techniques in Japan were compatible to those of other advanced countries. JHILL was established to take over these activities, and has been representing leading high voltage test laboratories in Japan.
