In order to conduct its business, JEMA has a wide range of committees that deal with many different fields, including the following: committees related to products for heavy industry, industrial systems and equipment, home appliances, nuclear power and renewable energy sources; committees for areas of concern that include all industries, such as the environment and technology; and committees for medium-sized companies and the financial aspects of corporate management. The committees are headed by various policy committees, and there are various subcommittees, specialized committees, study groups, work groups, etc.
